About the photo: My grandson came down with a really bad cold a few weeks back. We took him to the hospital for shortness of breath, chest tightness and a horrible cough. Everyone thought he might have the flu. It turned out that he had a really bad cold. Prescription: Rest, lots of juice and water, plenty of movies and video games. He recovered in about a week. December 2008.

She was a warm, loving, nurturing and caring woman. On this day in 2005, she found out she had cervical cancer which had spread to her bladder. She aggressively fought the cancer with chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
